Does 5G cause death

In 2018 there were a lot of News mentioning 5G technology, many telecoms, and mobile brands came forward with their initiative for adopting 5G technology.

Verizon 5G is the first official company to launch 5G in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Providence, St. Paul, Washington D.C, Phoenix cities in the USA which is available only on several devices currently, they are Motorola Z3/Z4, Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, LG V50 ThinQ.

The new fifth-generation technology is a great leap for very fast wireless connection and has new hopes for the very effective network, this is not only about the cellular network it will also open new ways for future technology like virtual reality, man-less cars, and such unbelievable things which will be possible in an effective way in India also.

Nowadays you may have seen articles about 5G on Facebook, newspapers, and many other social media platform which mentioning about new 5G Compatible phones, 5G causing health risks, and many more which we will discuss broadly below, But first up all let’s know about what is 5G.

What is 5G? 4G VS 5G!

5G is the successor technology of 4G network connection which will have better speed & latency. The 5G stands for a network of the fifth generation of its standards, it works with super-high frequency radio waves which are very fast than previous radio waves of 4G.

Frequency and speed-

Previously 4G was the big leap in 2009 which works with radio waves of frequency ranging from 1900-2500 MHz resulting in a peak speed of about 10 Mbps but for now, 5G uses waves of frequency ranging from 30000-300000 MHz (30-300 GHz) resulting in more fast Internet connection aiming to 10 Gbps or possibly more.
But unfortunately in India 10 Gbps speed will not be possible as there is a crowd of users, the expected speed will be 0.5-1 Gbps.

Latency-

Network Latency is very important which shows “the time taken to transfer data from one place to another place”. 4G network was providing at least 20-30 ms, But for now, 5G will ensure 1 ms network latency which will have a more efficient game experience, steaming, etc. Which will connect you with the world in real-time.

As there is an unbelievable speed with great coverage this will becomes not only about the cellular networks it will open new ways for new technologies.

How do 5G works?

5G

As we discussed early, 5G works with super-high frequency radio waves which are measured in millimetres they have a shorter range than microwaves. They cannot be sent to long distances, thus for transmission, smaller towers with normal size like street electric poles are sufficient for their network connection, this will save some areas also as current cell towers require large areas.

5G wave frequency is measured in millimetres which is limited to short-range the number of towers per area are more, therefore 5G can supports a million devices with good latency over the Square-Kilometer area, while previously 4G cannot support this number of cell phones.
In the future, there will be cell towers of normal electric pole size but will be more in number with great speed leap compared to 4G. Already there are many crowded cities with very few areas for homes, like in Mumbai. With 5G establishment, land problems will be excluded at least.

Is 5G safe? Does 5G cause cancer?

Many people in India were concerned about new technology as they were assuming it will be a reason for more radiation, already People in India are very concerned about social problems.

On 29 November 2018 a movie named Robo 2.0 launched in India, movie context was about cellphone-network towers increasing radiation were causing damage to birds, this encouraged people to think about network radiation and this created hype about questions on cellphone network, then in December month, many companies in India took initiative for there cellphone network future goals with ensuring safety.

As there were much news coming in social media platform about risks of 5G, people and there assigned government were forced to ensure the safety of new technology. Many smart leaders in our Indian community ensured the safety of mobile networks by simplifying the complications which were been created in people’s minds. People at the time of launching 5G will ask the same question which they asked previously like is 5G hazardous to us? Does the 5G network affect bird health? Does 5G will cause cancer? and such relevant questions.

Simply the answer is here-

Many scientists have done research related to network signals and mobile radiation and don’t found any adverse effects on them.

4G and 5G run with radio waves with their relative frequencies and wavelengths. These radio waves carry Radio-frequency Radiation (RFR) which is Non-Ionizing in nature means they don’t cause any chemical change in organisms. So it is Scientifically proven that 5G signal or nay cellphone network signals doesn’t cause damage to us or any of our tissues and not cause cancer or anything harmful to us.

But on the other side, there are UV-rays/X-rays/gamma-rays and such waves are Ionizing in nature, which means they cause damage to the organism’s tissues and this is the result of years of research by the scientist.

Current status of 5G in India?

In Feb 2018 Airtel and Huawei conducted India’s first 5G trial at Manesar, Gurugram. This created many political complications for India with China, the UK, and Australia.

As time went on in 2020-2021 more trials were done by different companies like Nokia, Samsung, Jio 5G. The standard came into existence for 5G technology which must be followed by companies. Test and trial of Jio are done regarding 5G as some of the news said that. Still, Jio is working on the infrastructure of Jio 5G.

In India Jio 5G will be the first to introduce a 5G network in India most probably in pre-Diwali (September-October) time of 2021 or in 2022, Jio will provide 5G with a speed of up to 1 Gbps.

Airtel, Idea, Vodafone are also working on their infrastructure for the 5G network. Probably in mid-2022 5G will be available through India.

But the price of 5G would be high as for infrastructure, research and development must be costed much, therefore for recovery of that cost the price of 5G will be high in its growth stage.

After the full availability and establishment of 5G there will much competition among various companies of telecom and mobile brands to provide their 5G services, and ultimately plans price will be reduced.

When there will be a stable establishment of 5G in India there will be more efficient online work. Online browsing, downloading, Gaming community, Virtual simulator, Television all the social platforms will get a next-level boost and that would be the reason for the growth of India in the future.

Cheap 5G mobiles in India from Rs.10,000

Indian market is especially for budget and mid-range categories. The above 5G mobiles will not get sell as much as they get in the US, Korean markets.

So for India’s biggest competitors Xiaomi and Realme are planning to launch their mobile compatible with 5G at end of 2021 or the start of 2022. Which will be priced probably from Rs.12,000-13,000. Jio Phone 3 may be launched with the launch of Jio 5G and Jio 5G phone expected to be touchscreen this at price around Rs. 5000.
