How to open Manage App setting in Xiaomi Smartphone
There are two ways to open the Manage apps option
- Open the Security app on the smartphone, then find the Manage app and tap on it.
- In another way, go to Setting of your smartphone and go to the ‘Apps’ section, in that tap on the Manage option.

Updates
The ‘Updates’ option shows the app that has a newer version available to download and updates apps through the help of GetApps.
Uninstall
Through uninstall option you can uninstall multiple apps at a time which is also possible through the app drawer but here you can see the space that they have actually occupied and usage activity status.
Find apps
Find apps option redirects you to the GetApps app where you can actually find different apps.
Permissions
Through ‘Permissions’ you can manage permissions in bulk, where you have four options.
- Autostart – Through autostart, you will see the total apps that aren’t allowed to autostart and apps that are allowed to autostart you can easily manage all of them from here.
- permissions – Through this option, you can manage permission related to Body sensors, calendar, Call logs, Camera, Contacts, Location, Microphone, Physical activity, SMS, Storage, Telephone and other 7 additional permissions.
- Other permissions – Through other permissions, you can see the permissions given to a particular app and manage them easily.
- Install via USB – This option allows a user to manage permissions of apps that are installed through USB.
Additional options
Hide System services/ Show all apps –
You can use this option to filter different apps, to see the apps that you actually want to see.
Default apps –
This option allows you to see and manage default application for every category like Music, Browser, etc.
Reset app preferences –
You can use this option to reset preferences for Disabled apps, Disabled app notifications, default apps, Background data restriction for apps easily.
Settings –
In the setting option, you can manage available updates and recommendation.
