Recently my friend who use iPhone 6 contacted me and asked for the help for the Solution to “Unable to Proceed as per UPI guidline, you should be using an iPhone that runs on iOS version 13.4 or higher to add a bank account. Update and try again.”

So in this post we have shared some solutions that you can use easily to solve this issue.

Solutions to “as per UPI guidline, you should be using an iPhone that runs on iOS version 13.4 or higher”

1. Use another device

As per a recent NPCI mandate for banks, UPI is unavailable for iOS versions <13.4, and iPhone 6/6s. Please upgrade your iOS version or try alternate devices to continue using UPI.

2. Use Another app

Another app like may work fine with iOS 12.5, like Amazon Pay. So you can try using that.

3. Have iOS 15.2 even then UPI/Google Pay doesn’t work

In this case you can do few things:

  • Update your Payments app.
  • Clear cache of your Payments app.
  • restart your device.

4. Update iPhone

Update your iPhone. To do this go to Settings>General>Software Update. After updating it may work fine!

5. Contact UPI support

You can contact the UPI su[pport or your payments app for further enquiry they may help you better than us so contact them via help support number or throgh mail.
